isn't the whole state in debt?
This place is beyond F**CKD. We have company's leaving left and right... the ones who are staying have been offered MASSIVE tax breaks if they stay, and supposedley add jobs.
This is what happens when you have 2 Criminal Govenors in a Row, and the same corrupt in the tank Mayor in charge of the largest city for 7+years.. it just goes to show you the corruption, and then the complacency of IL residents and politics have ruined the state. Most that live in the City of Chicago have gotten so used to being BENT OVER and full serviced up the AZZZ they don't know any different. Most who live in IL know that Chicago really runs the state, not Springfield...what a joke.
With regards to this little idea of Jailing people in Debt.. with the way IL operates... Union Workers and State employees will be exempt... it will only apply to private sector workers and..this will be another attempt to generate Revenue for the state..additional ticket fines, court fees, penalties etc.. the state will get their hands in the persons pocket and further them into debt.
I guess I'll give em one thing...they are at least thinkng about personal accountabiltity and responsiblity
I remember when I was out of work, standing in the unemployment line .. checking out some people with iphones, and 300 dollar air jordans

Illinois is out of control....It's almost time to get the heck out of here...while I still can.
Family is the ONLY thing keeping me here otherwise I would have left years ago. I've been trying hard each year to convince my parents to move. My mom retires next year, my dad is unemployed anyway. Next on the list is my brother to try and get him to move
