Disney Consumer Products has just released a new line of products called Cars Take Flight. The products include ?Cars?-themed toys taking flight into air and space, food, books and more!
We were lucky enough to review the Cars Take Flight Lightning McQueen Hawk by Mattel! Here is a description of the toy from Disney:
Inspired by the new flight-themed Disney Pixar Cars Toons short, ?Air Mater,? comes Lightning McQueen Hawk. In driving mode Lightning McQueen has driving sounds and phrases. Once transformed into a plane he reveals rocket booster lights and fun projectiles. Lightning McQueen Hawk features built-in sensors so his phrases and sound effects respond to kids? movements. Kids will love reliving animated scenes and creating new ?air-ventures? with this beloved character.
Ok this toy is a serious blast! All you do is pick up the Lightning McQueen Hawk car and start moving it around with your hand. Race him around on the floor, or pick him up and run around your home with him flying alongside you. When you pull his back bumper he puts on his flying gear and he?s ready to take to the air! You get to maneuver him however you want ? up, down, sideways, barrel roll, and he?ll have something to say about each direction you go or each stunt you perform in the sky!
We think this is a really creative toy, and it is sure to keep you entertained for hours. There?s an abundance of phrases that Lightning McQueen will say, and the toy doesn?t get old no matter how long you play for. Plus, the fact that it shoots rockets out is pretty cool!
