Foods A Diet Plan For Weight Loss Should Not Include
Since there is no one-size-fits-all solution to shed unwanted pounds, putting together a healthy diet plan for weight loss can be a challenge. When you are planning your meal program, leave out the diet soft drinks, white bread and frozen processed meals. These items are unhealthy and they can stall your efforts to lose weight.

Dont Drink Diet Sodas to Lose Weight

Dont be fooled into thinking that diet sodas are good to drink when you are trying to lose weight. Diet soft drinks contain unhealthy artificial sweeteners like aspartame and saccharin. A study done by Purdue University suggests that low-calorie sweeteners may alter the metabolism and increase your likelihood for weight gain.

The low-calorie sweeteners found in diet soft drinks can increase hunger and may make you want to eat more. When you consume more food, your caloric intake increases and so do your chances of gaining weight. In addition to contributing to weight gain, low-calorie sweeteners have been linked to a myriad of health problems.

Some of these health issues include neuropsychiatric disorders such as panic attacks, seizures, vertigo, depression, sensory neuropathy, headaches, migraines and eczema. These low-cal sweeteners may also contribute to, or worsen brain tumors, birth defects, Parkinsons disease, Alzheimers and fibromyalgia.

Instead of drinking diet sodas, you can sweeten your favorite organic tea or coffee with a little raw honey, Stevia or agave syrup. These types of sweeteners will satisfy your sweet tooth without harmful side effects.

Avoid Eating White Bread While Dieting

If you want to enjoy a wholesome sandwich loaded with natural, lean meats and veggies, go right ahead, as long as the bread you use is healthy. White bread is not a good carbohydrate choice because it is full of empty calories and it increases your chances of gaining weight.

Most of the nutrients in white bread are lost during the milling process. When you eat this type of bread, you may feel full, but there are no nutritional benefits for your body. White bread is also full of toxic chemicals that can put your health at risk.

To speed the whitening process of bread, manufacturers use various types of bleaching agents. One such chemical agent is chloride oxide. This bleaching agent has been shown to ruin beta cells in the pancreas and has also been linked to diabetes.

Bread made from sprouted grain or spelt are much healthier choices than white bread. Why? Because they are nutritious and they are not filled with tons of chemicals that pollute your body.

Dont Eat Frozen Processed Meals to Lose Weight

You cant walk down the frozen food section of the grocery store without seeing processed meals that are targeted at dieters. These types of foods fly off the shelves because people either think that preparing nutritious meals at home is a hassle, or they dont understand how unhealthy frozen, processed meals are.

Processed meals are full of additives like salt, sugar, stabilizers, fillers, trans fats and a host of other unhealthy ingredients. These types of ingredients can contaminate your body and contribute to weight gain, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and certain types of cancer.

Your liver has the huge responsibility of ridding your body of toxins. When your system becomes littered with the chemicals found in processed foods, it has to work harder to flush the chemicals out.

A diet plan for weight loss will vary based on your individual needs and lifestyle. No matter what type of diet program you decide to use, diet soda, white bread and frozen processed meals are three things you should never consume while you are trying to lose weight.
